Black Friday Not Expected to Be as Busy as 2019
With the current pandemic shopping this year will be different for the holidays.
Black Friday is next Friday but how will it look during the current pandemic?
Many stores are already advertising black Friday sales on items available now to discourage big crowds. Under current restrictions retail stores are limited to 25% capacity until December 14. That's next Friday the day after Thanksgiving. Saturday November 28 is small business Saturday as proclaimed by the Yakima City Council. It's a time when you are encouraged to avoid shopping at large box stores and support small businesses especially at a time when many are close to closing because of COVID-19 restrictions.
Then Monday, November 30 is Cyber Monday when you are encouraged to shop online especially local store websites.
