August 4 Primary Ballots Arriving Friday

Are you a registered voter? If not you can register online at the Yakima County Elections website. If you want to vote in the August 4 primary election get signed up Today. More than 119,000 ballots for the election will be sent out on Friday and should begin arriving in mailboxes over the weekend. It's a very busy ballot with 36 people running for governor including Yakima Attorney Liz Hallock.
There's also races on the ballot for state representatives in the 13th, 14th and 15th legislative districts as well as Yakima County Commissioners in Districts 1 and 2 among many other state races.
Auditor Charles Ross says study the ballot, fill it out, sign it and mail it back as soon as possible.
You can also drop your ballot in a drop box. Many are located throughout the county including one located across from the Yakima County Courthouse on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. What's on the ballot?
