Earlier this week I shared four things we can do to keep the kids from being bored this weekend. There are activities including the Yakima Valley Museum, animal tours, farmers markets, and more (click here to see that list). Now I'm back with four more really fun things we can do.

1. Yakima Valley Libraries (various locations): Please note, the Toppenish Community Library is temporarily closed until they can repair their air conditioners. There are scavenger hunts located around town with partner businesses, too. Little ones can hop on one of the Early Literacy computers andthe pre-teens and teens can enjoy the amazing books in the Young Adult section.

2. Movies in the Park, 40th Ave and River Road: This Sunday, everyone can head to Chesterly Park to see the movie, Coco (bring your tissues, it's a tearjerker).

3. McAllister Air Museum, 2008 S 16th Avenue: Open Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. I would suggest going earlier in the day to avoid the hot temperatures outside. It's supposed to reach 91 on Saturday! Kids can view the model airplane collection on display as well as the Leonardo di Vinci unit and The Wright Brothers model plane. There are so many other cool airplane exhibits that make the trip to this museum worthwhile.

4. Yakima Valley Trolley: World Emoji Day: From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. the trolley is open to the public for $5 a person. When you take pics for social media, make sure to use the trolley emoji 🚎 to show off your support!

Did you name your kid one of the most popular baby names from the past 100 years?
