1970’s Exploding Whale Oregon News Broadcast

From the "If I haven't seen it, it's new to me!" file, comes a news broadcast from Florence Oregon's ABC affiliate dated November 19th, 1970. A dead whale washed up on the beach, and started rotting. Not knowing how to dispose of the carcass, experts decided to BLOW IT UP! Well, let's just say, it did not go as expected, even for a car parked a quarter mile away.
