Join the 1920’s Themed Party for Yakima’s Trolleys on Sept 17th
History was made this past weekend in Yakima, Washington. For the very first time ever the current Mayor of Yakima, Jannice Deccio, drove one of the historic Yakima Trolleys! That's 100 years of trolley rides and never once has a mayor done this and that's not all that's exciting. There's a party coming up and you are invited!

This is a fantastic way to give back, have some fun, and support what could become a National Landmark in our area! The Yakima Valley Trolleys are the last working Electric Railway cars in the entire nation. There is a TON of work that is put into maintaining the rails and also refurbishing the cars, if you don't already follow Yakima Valley Trolleys on Facebook and their website it's a must! Incredible stories and fantastic pictures bring you back in time.
Use These 1920's Phrases at the Party
- Let's ankle (walk) our way through this party
- Grab your bearcats (lively, spirited women possibly with a fiery streak), and let's ride the trolley
- That sounds like berries (bee's knees) to me!
