Woodland, WA Airbnb Experience Is Like ‘Jaws’ Meets the Discovery Channel
I have discovered a unique way for you (and your family) to go fishing for Sturgeon, salmon, or trout in this family-friendly Airbnb Experience! Go fishing for salmon or trout in the Columbia River with Tim and Lee, Airbnb Experience experts.
What makes this experience so unique and fun is that you'll have your own personal guides (Time and Lee, naturally) on their jet sled boat. Take a tour like "Lewis and Clark", boasts the Airbnb rental ad. I call it more like a smaller version of the movie, Jaws, meets the Discovery Channel. You're going to need a bigger boat!
This Airbnb Experiences adventure will provide you and your party with some light snacks and sodas (you have to request this upfront though), the proper fishing gear you all will need, plus your own personal jet sled boat tour guides.
Amongst the fishing gear included are:
- Fishing Rods
- Fishing Reels
You can bring up to five guests, making six people in your Airbnb Experience group. Some suggested tag-a-longs include
- Your Spouse or Partner
- Kids
- Family Friend
- Your Favorite Cousin
- Frenemies You'd Like to Go Fishin' With
What's the catch? (Get it, catch?)
The catch is that you and everyone you bring along for the jet sled boat fishing trip must have their own Washington state fishing license, you have to provide your own transportation to meet up with your fishing tour guides, and this fishing tour does NOT come with lodging. You'll have to find your own place to sleep.
Tim and Lee suggest you stay at their bed and breakfast house, "MapleRidge House : A BnB For ALL Seasons", which is also listed on Airbnb (starting at $210 a night and includes an outdoor sauna).
The cost for the jet sled fishing boat tour is $399 a person. Click here to book it. Tim and Lee will even gut and clean up your fish for you. That to me is worth the price alone, ha!.
Looks like a lot of fun!
This lady even caught a big fish IN HER MINK COAT! MeMaw said, "These fish can catch these hands, and I'm still wearing my MINK, BETCHES!"
I'm not messing around with anybody wearing a mink coat when they go fishing!
View some of these catches of the day from Tim and Lee's photo gallery then check out the video I included for you: it's a JET SLED BOAT jumping a log in the river! Good times!
THESE FOLKS LOOK LIKE A PICTURE IN ONE OF THOSE FRAMES AT THE DOLLAR STORE. THE SMILES ON THEIR FACES ARE PRICELESS.
THIS LADY RIGHT HERE IS SMILING LIKE SHE'S IN A SEARS CATALOG. I'D BE SMILING LIKE THAT, TOO, IF I CAUGHT A BIGGIN'! YOU GO, GIRL!
THIS GUY ON THE RIGHT LOOKS LIKE HE HAD NO IDEA THERE WOULD BE FISH CATCHING ON THIS TRIP. "WHATT'RE THOOOOSE?!" PLUS, LOOKS LIKE HE'S ABOUT TO FALL OFF THE BOAT. SURF'S UP, DUDE!
THAT WAS FUN, NOW CHECK OUT THIS VIDEO OF A JET SLED BOAT LOG JUMP!
