Why Are Diets So Tough? I Am Starting One to Lose the Baby Fat!
I am starting a new diet. It's from the Spokane Weight Loss clinic.
They use the New Wave Healthcare weight loss system. My coworker looked at me this morning and he goes, "I really don't know why you are doing this." Well, I told him, the reason why I am doing this is not that I am overweight by the looks of me. It's because I have been retaining a huge amount of belly weight ever since I had my daughter Willow, who is now age ELEVEN years old!
When Willow was about three years old, she told me in the checkout lane of a grocery store, "Mommy, you have a big tummy! You are pregnant!"
Yikes, little child, no, I was NOT pregnant, I just had retained a lot of weight. It was more than likely due to the moderate amounts of beer, wine, and liquor that I had been drinking. I will admit to you openly that I drank more than usual to cope with stress. It is a terrible reason, but still, those are the facts.
Recently, I discovered that it wasn't just the alcohol I had been drinking that kept the Mom bod on my body, it was stress and hormones! That makes me feel a little bit better but I still want to drop kick the visceral fat that has accumulated on me over the past decade.

When the opportunity arose for me to begin a regimen that didn't call for special exercises or pre-packaged breakfasts, lunches, or dinners, I leaped at the chance. I want to return to my slim-thick figure pre-baby! My new diet has me scrutinizing everything I eat so that it fits the "approved" list of items on the Spokane Weight Loss diet.
No, I cannot indulge in my usual steady stream of chips, breads, pastas, and Buttermilk Ranch Dressing, but I can still eat things I do love like shrimp, scrambled eggs with salsa, Alaskan cod, and an assortment of fresh veggies and salads! We'll see if I can discipline myself to stay on task with this new diet and get back my svelte body so that I can keep wooing my new Canadian flame across the border!
