We’ve Got A New Yakima Police Chief And He’s From Denver, Y’all

I'm not so sure they use the word "y'all" a lot in Denver, but that's neither here nor there because I'm telling the story.

We've got a new Yakima police chief, and he's from Denver, y'all.

His name is Matt Murray, and the Yakima Herald reports that was the lieutenant at the Denver Police Department. He's a former detective in the Major Crimes division, too, which will come right in handy here in Yakima.

Yakima has had a bunch of turnover in the police department, so I wish him all of the best.
