If you grew up being bullied then you can probably guess what a recent survey found -- it's a "duh" moment.

The study revealed that kids who are bullied are more likely to get plastic surgery. Really? You needed a survey to tell you this?

Why didn't you ask the plethora of kids who grew up in the '70s, '80s and '90s?

"Hey, Bugs Bunny have another carrot. How's that wood, Bucky the Beaver? Can you even close your mouth?"

Yeah ... I'm one of those kids. I was bullied horribly over my buck teeth due to my severe overbite. My parents put braces on me, but I only had them on for a year because my parents divorced and my dad wasn't going to pay the orthodontist. My mom couldn't afford the monthly payments, so the orthodontist removed them.

It wasn't until I was an adult that I was able to afford to get my teeth fixed and yes ... those horrible things said to me growing up played a part. It eats away at your self-esteem.

So yeah, the bullying I endured growing up played a part in me wanting to get my teeth fixed.

Did you get bullied growing up? Did you do something to "fix" what you were bullied over?
