This Classic 1985 Map of Yakima is Available for Download
Back in 1985 94.5 KATS and 1280 KIT released this map of Yakima. It was in celebration of Yakima's 100-year centennial. As a kid, I thought it was the coolest thing ever. This map featured sponsored locations of some great stores back then. I had a copy of this map and, a little while back, a friend reached out asking if I still had it so he could scan and touch it up to make reprints. As a way of giving back, he made this image available so anyone can download it.
It's fun to see the businesses from 1985. Not only the ones that are no longer with us but those who are still here over 30 years later.
