The Table Is Set for Saturday’s Fourth Annual Estrella Awards

This Saturday night (Oct. 21), Yakima gets a chance to hear from some silent heroes.

It's the fourth annual Estrella Awards, presented by the Central Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

Tickets are $60 at the door, $50 in advance via the chamber's website, by emailing cwhcc@yahoo.com or by calling (509) 728-4710. The event starts at 5:30 p.m. at Howard Johnson Plaza Hotel, 9 N. Ninth St.

The awards recognize people who "do great things behind the scenes, and who make a positive impact on our communities through selfless contributions," according to a news release from the chamber.
