The Secret’s Out: The Yakima Uncorked Wine & Food Festival Has BEER, Too!
Great news for those of us who might be hesitant about going to the Yakima Uncorked Wine & Food Festival because we don't even know what kind of wine is supposed to go with hot dogs: THEY HAVE BEER, TOO!
So we should all feel right at home Saturday night in Millennium Plaza, 22 S. Third St.
They'll also have live music by World Tour Legends of Rock, which does NOT suck.
The event -- sponsored by Washington Broadband and underwritten by Betterall Auto Sales, Legends Casino, the city of Yakima, Yakima Valley Vintners, Wine Divas, The Seasons Performance Hall and Farmers Insurance -- runs from 5-10 p.m. Saturday (June 25).
They'll feature premium Northwest wines, including many from here in the valley, and some great food. (We're not sure WHAT that means for hot dog eaters, but we'll get back to you with whatever we hear.)
Local arts and craft vendors will be there, too, so you can do some shopping while you're at it.
General admission tickets are $15; premium admission (which includes a commemorative glass and sampling scrips) is $25.
