In 2024, Yakima Federal Savings and Loan will award up to $217,500 in academic assistance

The $80,000 contribution will help complete a goal of $15 million campaign to raise money to expand Memorials Children’s Health & Medical Program.

The program is funded with $174,000 for scholarships for area graduating seniors.

For the past 44 years Yakima Federal has given more than $2 million in college scholarships to local students.
