Seattle’s Key Arena to Now Be Called ‘Climate Pledge Arena’
Originally named the Seattle Center Coliseum when it was built for the 1962 World's Fair, many generations have since seen it in one of its many incarnations following a number of facelifts over the years. Some have only known the building by its corporate name, Key Arena, when Key Bank bought the naming rights back in 1995. Earlier today, Amazon announced that it has purchased the new naming rights for the, once again, remodeled coliseum and will heretofore be known as Climate Pledge Arena.
