Saturday is Spring Cleaning Day — Yakima’s Setting Up a Free Dump Site

The city of Yakima is offering a free dumpsite Saturday, so let's take spring cleaning to the next level!

If you live on the east side of Yakima, then Saturday is your day to take advantage of the free dump site at the Yakima Speedway parking lot, 1600 Pacific Ave. This is only for all homes from South First Street to Interstate 82 and between East Chestnut and Pacific Avenue. If you live in his area, what a great time to clean up your yard!

There are some rules, though. The city is asking that you bring no construction or demolition garbage, no hazardous materials, no car parts and no chemical waste. Tires are limited to four tires per household.
