The child custody battle between Robin Thicke and Paula Patton is getting really messy. On Friday (Jan. 13), Thicke had to call the police because Patton refused to let the R&B singer pick up their son, Julian, as part of their custody agreement.

On Thursday (Jan. 13), a judge has denied Patton’s request to limit Thicke’s joint custody agreement. This following a heated custody battle where it was revealed that The Los Angeles County Department of Child and Family Services is looking into allegations of child abuse after Thicke spanked his son. Patton then filed an emergency order asking a judge to restrict Thicke’s time with his son to monitored daytime visits only.

On Friday morning, L.A. County Sheriff's deputies arrived at Patton's home with the court order. According to TMZ, deputies went inside the house and spoke with Julian and he said that he was scared of his dad and didn't want to go with him.

In the video above, you can see deputies explaining to Patton that they will not take the child against his will.

There's no word on whether Thicke was able to secure custody of his child. An insider told the entertainment website that the couple are slowly coming to an agreement in regards to sharing parenting duties with their son.
