You Can Sleep in This Adorable Quaint WA State Train Caboose on Airbnb
It's a bird, it's a plane, no...it's a TRAIN CABOOSE...that you can actually rent on Airbnb here in Washington state!
How cool is that!
Airbnb offers many kinds of unique stay experiences and this one is right up the unique alley. We've been dealing with COVID-19 so you might wonder if this experience is still available. This train caboose is only $150 a night, which is a great deal compared to many hotels in our state. It is!
With most Airbnbs, you'll have to not only pay the daily going rate for renting the place out and you'll have to also cover the cleaning and service fees. Those fees can add up, so remember if you ever book an Airbnb, you'll have to add, say, an additional $100 just to be safe. Don't forget to add the taxes!
This experience is located in Sequim, about 4 and a half hours away from the Yakima Valley, but so worth it! You could make this a family trip because there is 1 bedroom and a hideaway bed and should fit about four people comfortably.
I have been wanting to take a trip someplace cool with my 10-year-old daughter, Willow. I just bought a new car that can safely handle the roads and passes without me white-knuckling the steering wheel. I'm so ready for adventure! I have lived in Washington state for nearly twenty (yes, 20!) years and still haven't seen much of the state. I'm ready to get down with the get down!
This past June, I finally got to experience the Olympic Coast when Willow and I visited my new favorite place in the world, the AMA-ZING Alderbrook Resort. It was on this road trip from Yakima that I realized there is SO much I have yet to see and explore. I can't wait to hit the road and to rent out this gorgeous and adorable little train caboose someday.
If you stay here, please let me know how much you loved it!
