Red, Wine, and Chocolate Wine Festival Is a Go for 2022

Well, well, well, what do we have here? Doth mine eyes deceive me or did I just see confirmation from the Yakima Valley Visitors' Center that the Red, Wine, and Chocolate Weekend will go on for 2022? I know I am not alone in rejoicing at this news!

I have so many fond memories of RWAC's of years past, like the time my friends rented a stretch limo for our wine tour, and the time we got a sneak peek of new wines because a friend of a friend of a friend knew someobody's boyfriend who had access to private barrels. I remember the great times I've shared with friends who had come from out ot town just to experience Red, Wine, and Chocolate. One time I got invited to a private after party being held at one of the participating wineries. Oh, the food we enjoyed that night along with the most expensive reserves! We were living like queens and kings of Bridgerton that night!

I hope that you have fond memories too, and are excited to tell your friends to get their passes now before the folks on the Westside of the mountains hears about this. They probably already have, though, to be honest. I am always late at getting the memo!

Not all of the usual participating tasting rooms will be participating in this year's event. My guess is that it could be related to certain COVID-19 prevention precautions.
