R&B Star Brandy Joins ‘The Voice’ For Its 20th Season

R&B star Brandy has enjoyed a major comeback over the last few years including a critically acclaimed album called "B7" and her historic VERZUZ battle with Monica a few months back and now she's getting ready to return to TV.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Brandy will be joining the cast of NBC's "The Voice" for its 20th season as one of its "Battle Advisors".

Basically, she will be helping and mentoring the contestants on singer and judge John Legend's "Team Legend" as they compete to become America's next singing sensation.

Legend added that when he was given a list of 20 mentors to choose from, Brandy was his first choice and Brandy added that when she was asked it was "an immediate yes".

The new season of "The Voice" features the return of team captains Legend, Blake Shelton and Kelly Clarkson while Nick Jonas will be rejoining the cast filling in for Gwen Stefani.

The new season of "The Voice" premieres March 1st on NBC.
