R. Kelly is prepared to fight his most recent sex allegations and has reportedly hired a high-profile attorney.

According to a report from the Daily Mail, Kelly has hired Monique Pressley to help him fight against claims that he is holding women against their will in a sex cult. Pressley was a former lawyer of Bill Cosby but left his legal team in August 2016.

While Pressley has refused to comment on the report, Kelly is also being represented by Linda Mensch, who recently issued a statement on the singer’s behalf.

“Mr. Robert Kelly is both alarmed and disturbed at the recent revelations attributed to him. Mr. Kelly unequivocally denies such allegations and will work diligently and forcibly to pursue his accusers and clear his name,” the statement read.

After the release of R. Kelly’s statement, a father of one of the alleged victims said he was ready for a legal battle.

“You know the reason why Ms. Jocelyn Savage didn’t tell you where her location is? She’s not allowed to tell you her location,” said Tim Savage. “Mr. R. Kelly, if you wanna file a lawsuit, you should of filed it yesterday. I’m waiting on you. File a lawsuit. If that’s what you what wanna do, I’ll see you in court. File it, so everybody can see your dirty laundry.”
