Oregon Makes America’s List of Weirdest Job-Related Google Asks
A scope of Google analytics checked out job-related searches in every American state to come up with the weirdest and/or most interesting gig related queries from all 50 states in the U.S.A.
Many states are relatively ho-hum, run-of-the-mill questions like, in Washington, 'Starbucks Jobs' is top of the pops, while in Idaho 'work memes' was googled more than any other.

Using Google Trends, the kids at zippia.com determined the most interesting job-related search each state googles more than any other. Google searches are a great way to learn more about your fellow Americans, because people Google pretty transparently, with rarely a self-conscious thought.
Which, judging from some of these searches, it’s for the best they’re saved for the internet and not shared aloud. Some of these searches definitely aren’t HR friendly.
Examining over 1,000 unique job searches, over the course of a full year, the data was crunched to look at everything from desired companies, career advice, and small, innocuous details such as office temperature.
