Off The Record Music Store Is Moving To A New Location On October 24th
It was only two years ago that our favorite hometown record store, Off The Record, was for sale. The previous owner, Rich Koch, decided to retire and offered to grant someone else the opportunity to run the store that's been here for more than 30 years. In swooped in the new local owner, Gary Pruitt, to save the day!
You can step into Off The Record and get whisked away to musical memories of days past -- back when you bought and listened to your favorite music on vinyl, cassette and CD.
But now, Off The Record is moving to a new location, right up the road to 1513 Summitview Ave. It's in the same strip mall where one of my favorite restaurants is located (Ozeki's) and one of my old favorite nail shop haunts (Nails & Spa) and take-and-bake pizza shop (Papa Murphy's).
The new location will open Monday (Oct. 24), according to the paint writing on the building's large windows. From the outside looking in, the new location will be spacious and a fresh update to a classic business!
