March 2017 isn’t that far away — in just four months, we’ll be heading to the theater to check out Logan, featuring Hugh Jackman’s final outing as Wolverine. That’s kind of a big deal, considering the actor has portrayed the iconic X-Men hero on screen eight times, with the upcoming Wolverine sequel serving as his ninth film in the franchise. As such, we’ve really been enjoying director James Mangold’s frequent photo updates, which are likely to become more frequent in the months ahead.

Over the last month, Mangold (and the official Logan Instagram account, “wponx”) has been sharing new images, storyboards and gorgeous set photos from his Wolverine sequel, but only recently has Jackman himself entered the picture — literally. Mangold’s latest tweets reveal a new photo of the actor as the older Logan, somehow more gruff than ever before, yet looking quite slick in a suit. The photo could easily be a fashion ad in GQ:

The director also shared a pair of storyboards from artist Gabriel Hardman, depicting Jackman as he approaches the motel pictured above, claws out and ready to strike:

Jackman is joined by fellow X-Men vet Patrick Stewart, reprising his role (possibly for the last time) as Professor Charles Xavier, along with newcomer Dafne Keen as Laura, aka X-23, a female clone of Wolverine. Narcos star Boyd Holbrook plays the villainous Pierce; in the comics, he’s a former elite member of the Hellfire Club who goes on to form the Reavers, a militant team of genetically modified mutant cyborgs — one of which was featured in a recent photo from the film. Richard E. Grant stars as a mysterious mad scientist-type (whose identity has yet to be revealed), and Stephen Merchant plays the mutant known as Caliban.

Logan hits theaters on March 3, 2017.
