Lil' Kim is drawing inspiration from the Caribbean for her latest effort, "Nasty One."

The new single arrived late Tuesday night (July 10) just ahead of the Queen Bee's birthday. The "Took Us a Break" rapper first shared a snippet of the track via Twitter along with a tweet that read, "Even tho it’s my birthday, I wanted to celebrate with you guys by giving you my first single #NastyOne. Happy Birthday Beehive!"

On the dancehall-inspired track, Kim showcases both her malleable lyricism and singing chops, the latter being something she’s tinkered with throughout her career. “All around the world, they know who the best is/No pharmacies but they see VS’s/Ten karats embedded in the watch and necklace/Paint drippin’ off the Rari like it got asbestos,” she aggressively spits.

"Nasty One" is just a taste of what fans can expect to hear on Kim's long-awaited fifth studio album and follows the release of "Spicy" featuring Fabolous.

The veteran rapper has reportedly been hard at work to curate a project that will be chock-full of "different vibes." While there is no confirmed title or track list as of yet, fans can expect to get their hands on the project come November 2018.
