What does a Blue Stop Sign mean
It means you should stop. Treat it like a red stop sign.
The difference is a blue stop sign is something put up on a private road or maybe even a business. Private businesses like golf courses and gated communities may use blue stop signs where it seems fit to have a stop sign, though not one issued by the city.
You'll mostly find them in Hawaii but they still have some stop signs around the United States including one that was found in Seattle.
The red stop signs are the ones put up by the city.
Though blue stop signs are not city-issued, they should still be treated like a stop sign and come to a complete stop before moving on.
