Seattle Seahawks Big Win Over NY Giants on Monday Night Football
Seattle Seahawks Man-Handle New York Giants on Monday Night Football
The Seattle Seahawks are now 3 and 1 on the young 2023 NFL season, after a 24 to 3 beating of the struggling New York Giants, and many fans, including this one, who were on-hand for the season-opening loss to the Rams in Seattle, think the Hawks should be 4 and 0.
That aside, the Seahawks have won three straight games, two of which were on the road, and are looking good going into the bye week. There are several injured Hawks who can use this nearly two-week break to heal and be ready to go in Cincinnati on October 15th.
Seahawks Schedule Favorable For a Month - Tough Down the Stretch
As mentioned, the Seahawks have a bye this coming weekend and return to action on October 15th vs. the Bengals at Cincinnati in week 6. Then it's back home to Seattle when the Hawks take on NFC West rival Arizona Cardinals, followed by a visit from the Cleveland Browns in week 8, before heading to Baltimore to face the always-tough Ravens. The next couple of weeks are winnable games, hosting the Washington Commanders in Seattle, and then traveling to Los Angeles to avenge the opening-day loss to the Rams.
The remaining 7 games will be a tough test for the Seahawks down the stretch, beginning with a Thanksgiving Prime Time game at home versus the currently undefeated NFC West leaders San Francisco 49ers, a Thursday night matchup the following week versus the red-hot Dallas Cowboys, a rematch with the 49ers on December 10th in Santa Clara, back home to face the Philadelphia Eagles, a Christmas Eve game on the road in Tennesee to tackle the Titans, New Years Eve at home hosting the Steelers, and wrapping up the regular season with a visit to the desert in January against the Cardinals.
