Video Captured The U-40 Miss Beacon Plumbing Unlimited Hydro Flipping Over

2022 will go down in history as another amazing boat race weekend and one driver and boat will never forget the experience.

Dave Villwock, driver of the U-40 Miss Beacon Plumbing unlimited hydroplane caught fire and flipped over in the Columbia River, shocking racing fans.

Luckily, Villwock was unharmed after he popped the top off of his boat and got to safety.

According to KEPR-TV, Villwock's hydroplane caught air, flipped, and landed face-up in the water.

The incident occurred during the first lap of Heat 2 at the 2022 Columbia Cup during the 2022 Water Follies weekend.

The video was captured of the high-flying hydroplane wrecking and it was all caught on camera from inside the boat by the H1 Unlimited Hydros and was posted on Youtube.

Talk about a scary incident, luckily driver Dave Villwock escaped unscathed but you can't say that about the boat. The boat was unable to finish the race.

All in all, it was another fantastic Water Follies weekend. I bet racegoers can't wait until 2023.
