I Got a Taste Test Off the Cheese Junkies Menu

If you haven't heard the ooey-gooey news, there's a new restaurant that has opened in Yakima and people are going wild for it!

Located right next to the 7-11 on Summitview and 16th, a great spot to grab a bite to eat!

It's been a dream of owner Jaime Burns for quite some time to own a food truck but it's a story out of the Covid-19 restaurant book, as quickly as the truck was purchased the pandemic hit and the idea was shuttered until the opportunity to own a permanent space arose and she snatched up the chance.

The menu features appetizers like fried cheese curds, fried mac and cheese bites with sides like loaded cheese fries, onion rings, soup, and more. They've got burgers dripping with cheese and loaded with pineapple and while I was there they were testing out their latest creation, the Waffely Good Burger.

The Waffley Good Burger is a 1/4 lb all beef patty with American cheese and crispy bacon sandwiched between 2 Mac & Cheese buns

Very creative names for their grilled cheese selection too, I went with the Jalapeno Business Grilled Cheese and it was excellent and of course, a side of french fries smothered in cheese!
