Have You Ever Invented Something Or Know Someone Who Did?

Inventing something should be easy right? Every time I think of something to invent, someone else already did it! Like the 'post-it note' or the 'pet rock!' If I would have got those out there when I thought of them I would be the one rich. But, to be honest, I really don't know anyone who has invented anything. What about you? Have you ever invented anything or know someone who did?
