Governor Inslee says he is extremely frustrated and has anxiety over the impact on Washington state hospitals due to the rising rates of people in Idaho not getting the COVID-19 vaccine. He recently appeared on MSNBC and spoke with anchor Geoff Bennett to discuss what he wishes the Governor of Idaho would do to stop the flow of COVID-19 patients coming to Washington to 'clog up my hospitals."

HOW IT STARTED:

"When we make decisions based on science and when we make decisions based on the common good, we can beat a common enemy...and our common enemy is COVID right now." Governor Inslee expressed.

DOES GOVERNOR INSLEE FEEL ANY RESENTMENT? THE ANSWER IS YES.

The host, Mr. Bennett, then asked Governor Inslee about Idaho's new practice of "rationing of care" to their state's Covid-19 patients. There are several news stories about Idahoans being sent to hospitals in the neighboring border hospitals in Spokane County and beyond. Governor Inslee was asked how our state hospitals are "handling that, and do you feel any resentment?"

Inslee responded in the positive by first revealing he has "massive frustration and disappointment" over the fact that Idaho's governor has not taken extreme measures to protect his residents from the unbridled pandemic outbreak.

WHY GOV. INSLEE SAYS HE IS 'MASSIVELY FRUSTRATED' AND 'ANGRY' AT IDAHO:

"There is way too much ME and not enough WE when we talk about COVID," Governor Inslee exclaimed. "Washington's [patients] in many cases cannot get heart surgery, cannot get cancer surgery that they need because we are having to take too many people unvaccinated and unmasked..many of whom are coming from Idaho and that's just maddening, frankly."

THEY 'CLOG UP MY HOSPITALS':

Governor Inslee then went off about how COVID-19 patients from Idaho "clog up my hospitals." Idaho's governor, Brad Little, blames health officials in Spokane County for not getting their own rates of vaccinated people up. Currently, only 55% of persons over the age of 12 years are fully vaccinated in Spokane County according to DataNewsLeader.com. Only 40% of persons in Idaho are fully vaccinated (coronavirus.idaho.gov).
