I'm loving the fall-like weather, but I say "fall-like" because it really isn't fall just yet. The official first day of fall this year is Saturday, Sept. 22. What's significant about that?

If you can't think of it now, you may be able to on Sept. 23. The human brain has been found to work better in summer as compared to winter and spring. But the brain works best of all in the fall!
UK's The Sun reports that researchers have found that mild dementia is more likely to develop during the winter and spring. Studying why the brain works best in the fall may help uncover some new treatments for Alzheimer's disease.
