Do You Need to Worry About Yakima's Hepatitis A Outbreak?

The Yakima Health District has already notified five people in regard to the Hepatitis A outbreak that began at Popeye's between Oct. 23-31.

If you're already a patient of Yakima Pediatrics and are nervous, give them a call or -- no time like the present to get yourself a primary physician for the family.

Popeye's, meantime, has set up an information line for anyone who has questions or concerns. The number is 1-844-944-5444.

If you are worried because you did visit during that time period call Yakima Pediatrics (509) 575-0114. Your current physician or check with the Yakima Health District (509) 575-4040
The health district says all customers who were at Popeye's from Oct. 23 to Oct. 31 should be sure that they have been vaccinated against hepatitis A or obtain the hepatitis A vaccine as soon as possible.
