Cinco de Mayo is today (Friday), and for those of you who do not speak Spanish, that means "fifth of May." It celebrates the Mexican army's May 5, 1862, victory over French forces during the Battle of Puebla -- though many mistakenly believe it commemorates Mexico's independence day.
Another noteworthy part of Cinco de Mayo is all the partying and drinking! A recent study found that in Washington, the top search related to Cinco de Mayo was "tequila!"

HA! Sounds good to me!

I went to Mexico once and actually ate the worm that was in the bottom of a bottle of tequila! I still cannot remember one single thing from the three days that followed. It was crazy!

Anyway, happy Cinco De Mayo! Have fun!
