A day after Bobbi Kristina Brown’s boyfriend, Nick Gordon, was found legally responsible for her death, her father, Bobby Brown, honored her legacy on social media.

The veteran R&B singer went on his Instagram page and posted a beautiful painting of himself hugging Bobbi Kristina when she was a baby to her adulthood. The hashtags say it all: #IGOTEM #Babygirl #daddyalwaysgotyourback #justiceforbobbikristina.

Bobby Brown's post follows news of a judge finding Gordon legally responsible for Bobbi Kristina's July 2015 death after he failed to appear in court twice. The conservator of Bobbi Kristina’s estate filed a $10 million wrongful death civil lawsuit against Gordon in August 2015. The suit alleges that Gordon was abusive to Bobbi Kristina and died “due to a violent altercation with Defendant (Gordon) after which he placed her in a bathtub, unconscious, after he injected her with a toxic mixture.”

The suit also claims that Gordon transferred money from Brown’s account into his own without authorization. No criminal charges have been filed against Gordon.

In a statement to E! News, Brown said, "I am pleased with the outcome of today's court proceedings. All I ever wanted was answers relating to who and what caused my daughter's death. Today's judgment tells me it was Nick Gordon. Now I need to process all the emotions I have and lean on God to get me and my family through this."

Bobby Brown recently welcomed his third baby with his current wife, Alicia Etheredge, in July.
