Black owned businessess in Yakima

via GIPHY

Wait! Before you say to me, "Now, hold on there a minute, missy! Why do we gotta highlight Black-owned businesses? All businesses matter!" You'd be absolutely correct there, but it's officially Black History Month! We've gotta celebrate! There are not that many Black people living around here, I'm just keeping it real! So I want to say hi and give a huge shout out to some of our local Black businesses in Yakima and Central Washington. I often have people asking me to give them the names of some area Black-owned businesses they can support, especially because we have the freedom to do so!

Before I share my list, do yourself a favor after you read this and go type in the words, Black History Month, in the Google search bar for a cool treat!

And now for the good stuff! My list of local and regional Black-owned businesses you can support not just during Black History Month but all the time!

Now that I've shared my Yakima-area list, here are some extra treats for you.

The first Black-owned business I want to say what's up to is a brewery in Woodinville, WA. I haven't had the pleasure of visiting their brewery but one of my best friends has and she says the beer and the vibes are so good there! It's a must-see!

This next Black-owned business is actually located in the Tri-Cities but we wanted to give them a shout out, too! If you ever want your hair braided and you're out near Richland, give them a visit!
