Workers are remodeling the inside of the former US Bank building at 40th and Summitview. The bank closed in April and the building was sold to Hogback Development company. Crews are now removing items in the building including file cabinets, some false walls, desks countertops and teller windows. On Wednesday crews removed the large safe and safety deposit boxes which the company is now selling.
Hogback is preparing the building for future development. A business is expected to move into the building in early 2020. There's no word on what kind of business will be opening at the former bank location.
