We are so much more advanced than 10 years ago when it comes to communication.  Smartphones have definitely taken us in a new direction. Phrases like "laughing out loud" have been shortened to LOL, "shaking my head" to SMH, to name a couple of examples.

Now instead of love, we have hearts of different colors. To give a thumbs up, you need not look too far because there is an emoji for it as well as a happy face.
