It's time for New Year's resolutions, and while fitness isn't No. 1 on the list, it is in the top three. Here are the trends we can expect for the coming year:

  1. Coming in at No. 1 is wearable technology, I truly thought they were referring to ab shapers but nope! Fitbits, smart watches and heart monitors are the "in thing" right now.
  2. Group training, this applies to groups of five people or more!
  3. High-intensity interval training, or HIIT workouts. These are my personal at-home faves!
