After getting dragged on Twitter for her tribute to the fallen music icon Prince at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards, Madonna had only three words for the critics: “Deal With It!”

On Monday (May 23), the veteran pop diva went on her Instagram account to respond to the negative reactions of her renditions of “Nothing Compares 2 U” and “Purple Rain,” which included a surprise appearance from Stevie Wonder. The Material Girl posted a photo of herself dressed in a purple-inspired jumpsuit with a white rose in her mouth.

"Anyone who wants to do a tribute to Prince is welcome to. Whatever your age Gender or skin Color. If you loved him and he inspired you then show it!!!! I love Prince 4 ever," reads the caption under the photo.

Madonna then posted a video of her dancing, along with the caption, “This is my ‘I’m not your bitch don't hang your s--- on me’ Dance," which is in reference to her 1994 hit "Human Nature."

Although the BBMAs didn't present a memorable Prince tribute, BET is promising that they will deliver a proper homage to the late guitarist at the 2016 BET Music Awards, which airs on June 26 at 8 p.m. ET.
