When I read that this phone comes with its own phone booth, I was imagining something that looked like either a decked-out Dr. Who "Tardis" police box phone booth, something that Superman would fly out of after he ripped off his glasses and changed his outfit or one of those old-timey phone booths that you can still see in the UK. After looking through the photo gallery though, it seems like it might be a much smaller set-up. Either way, having a home with a built-in phone booth would be cool as heck!

The home has a classic old Yakima flair to it, with the stone pillars on the outside of the house and radiator boxes of the 1910s and 20s. It also has those hardwood floors that were typical of the time period and expansive rooms and chandeliers.

The house belonged to Elizabeth Loudon Carmichael Loudon, a wealthy lady who built up her fortunes in our region by moving to Yakima in the late 1800s. She was an entrepreneur in every sense of the word: she started her own mercantile business, opened a creamery, and ran the town post office back when Union Gap was considered the big city.
