KIT News has learned that authorities believe the boy could still be in the park pond and there's now a plan being developed to drain the pond to possibly locate the boy's body.
KIT News has requested all available investigative information from the Yakima Police Department through a Freedom of Information request but like other media organizations the city has denied releasing information
Yakima Police Chief Matthew Murray says officers were called to Sarge Hubbard Park at about 7:30 pm Saturday by the father of the child who told authorities the child had been missing for 15 minutes.
