These Deadly Food Recalls May Ruin your Thanksgiving
As we're getting ready for Thanksgiving in Yakima and all of Washington State, not to mention the rest of the United States, we think of things to be thankful for.
Hopefully one would be your health.
And to keep that health going, there have been a few food recalls recently that should be brought to your attention.
Some of these items may even be on your Thanksgiving table to pay extra close attention.
Tortilla Stripshttps://929thebull.com/product-recall-tortilla-strips/
These specific Santa Fe-style torilla strips may be used as a garnish for salad or maybe even a topping for your green bean casserole? Not sure. Either way, watch out for it.
This Ground Beef
Well what would ground beef be doing on a Thanksgiving table? Well, maybe not everyone likes turkey. Some may prefer a big, juicy cheeseburger than turkey. Either way, this ground beef has been recalled all across the United States, including Washington State.
Mac & Cheese
Ain't nothin' wrong with macaroni and cheese on a Thanksgiving table. Especially if you have kids. Check for this mac & cheese just in case.
Ice Cream
This was a little while ago but in case you still have ice cream in your freezer in hopes to make your pumpkin pie a'la mode (I prefer ice cream or whipped cream for my pie topping) you can check to make sure your ice cream isn't the one that was on the recall list.
These Organic Carrots
Some carrots were linked back to e. coli as a reason people were sick in Washington State as well as a few other cases in Oregon and California. Check the bag.
