Supporting Los Angeles Wildfire Victims: How WA Can Make A Difference
The Los Angeles wildfires have been a insane to observe from a distance. So many have lost their homes, their lives, so many animals are gone, it looks like something out of a horror movie.
And that's just from me watching from the photos and videos I've seen online. I have some friends in that area and, fortunately, they're safe but that can't be said to others in that area. I can't imagine what it's like to be there in person.
Though you may feel helpless to those in L.A., there are somethings you can do to help our friends in Los Angeles in support of these fires.
Secret Seattle has a few ways you can help.
You can donate money to several organizations like the Los Angeles Fire Department, Wildfire Recovery Foundation, and Red Cross.
You can buy firefighters a meal through toasttab where you can set it up and pay on your side and one of the firefighters there will grab it.
The Second Markets team is teaming up so you can get on a clothing donation list.
There's also this that's accepting clothing donations.

Adopt an animal from Seattle Humane. Reason being is that Seattle Humane is accepting animals from the L.A. area for their shelter. If you adopt from Seattle Humane it'll open up more availability for displaced L.A. pets to get into WA.
