In fact during the month of February Yakima Police issued 918 citations, many for speeding. Officers also investigated 139 crashes with 73 happening at city intersections. 47 drivers were arrested for DUI.

AFTER WEEKS OF INCREASES FINALLY A DECREASE IN PRICES

If you're filling the tank the average cost of a gallon of regular unleaded in Washington state is down 4.5 cents selling for an average of $4.10 per gallon but it's selling for an average of $3.74  per gallon in Yakima this week. Prices in Yakima are 2.6 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand 20.2 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.
The national average price of diesel has decreased 2.1 cents in the last week and stands at $3.60  per gallon.

The cheapest in the Yakima area? It's $3.19 per gallong at the Ahtanum Fuel Stop on Goodman road in Yakima. If you're looking to save money police say just slow down and you'll avoid wasting gas and the possibility of a traffic citation.
