It's Not-Just-A-Farmers-Market, it's More-Than-A-Farmers-Market.

And whatever you call it, it's thriving in Zillah.

This year's just-renamed More-Than-A-Farmers-Market is coming up Sept. 9, and if you're interested in setting up a booth there, now is the time. Organizers are taking application forms, and spaces are filling up fast.

The fee is $25 for a 10-by-10 booth, and extra booths are available for another $25. Hit this link for a downloadable booth application form.

Vendors can email their completed forms to zillahchamberofcommerce@gmail.com, or they can snail-mail them to the Zillah Chamber of Commerce, P.O. Box 1294, Zillah, WA  98953.

Spaces will be pre-assigned and posted at the Civic Center, 119 First Ave., at 7 a.m. the day of market.

Now in its 17th year, the all-day market opens at 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, at Stewart Park, 107 First Ave., but it really is More-Than-A-Farmers-Market. Besides dozens of vendors, there'll be music and dancing, a chili cookoff, an art show and auction, a beer garden, wine tasting, live chain saw carving, yoga, face-painting and kids activities. You can even meet Pete, and sample some "paw painting" with the cat cafe ambassador.

For more information, contact the Zillah Chamber of Commerce or call Curtis Vangstad, (509) 961-7788.
