United Way of Central Washington wants to say a big “Thank You” to the Yakima community by hosting a Family Picnic tonight!

Beginning at 6pm, stop by Franklin Park (2101 Tieton Dr) and bring the kids to have fun with a bouncy house, live DJ, food, and other fun family activities.

Co-Chairs Amanda and David McKinney will be giving a few words of gratitude to the hundreds of advocates and volunteers who have helped the United Way of Central Washington in their funding efforts to provide vital services to the Yakima community. The annual Campaign Celebration of Caring event is usually a formal sit-down dinner event with invited guests and award recipients, but this year, the organization decided to share the fun with the entire community.
