On Monday (Oct. 2), Questlove took a page out of Igor Volsky's playbook and began calling out Senators and representatives who took money from the National Rifle Association.

The Roots drummer began quoting Senators who tweeted "thoughts and prayers" following the Las Vegas shooting and tweeted how much money they received from the NRA.

When Senator Rand Paul tweeted, "Tragic news out of Las Vegas this morning. Kelley and I send our prayers and deepest condolences to all those affected," Questo fired back with a simple, "$9,900 from NRA."

The tactic isn't a new one and is something Volsky, the Deputy Director of CAP Action and the Director of Guns Down America, has been doing since 2015 following the San Bernadino, California shooting. Like Quest, Volsky was also doing the same thing on Monday.
