PACE Program’s Attendance Incentives Get Kids to Class on Time Every Day

Wapato and Adams elementary schools are among dozens of Yakima Valley schools taking part in a program that offers kids a great incentive for getting to class on time every day.

PACE (Perfect Attendance Creates Excellence) rewards students who don't miss a day with a bike. No lie! Yours truly is a little jealous.

This morning, the principal of Adams, Tavis Peterson, along with PR representative Mike Balmelli and our very own Jessi, visited the station to talk about the program, which is sponsored by Bud Clary Toyota of Yakima.
