J. Lo + Marc Anthony, Separated For 5 Years, Unite For ‘No Me Ames’ Performance
There was nothing but love between divorced couple Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony during a surprise performance of "No Me Ames" — an admonition against romance — Saturday night (Aug. 27) in New York City.
Lopez, who split from Anthony in 2011 (though the couple wasn't formally divorced until 2014), joined him on stage during his The Private Collection show at Radio City Music Hall for a reprise of the 1999 single. And as Lopez rises from beneath the stage in the clip above, the crowd goes wild.
"The queen!" Anthony shouts after the duo dazzles the crowd, one of which observes "That was worth the charge of admission."
Anthony and Lopez will remember the night fondly, too. J. Lo noted "Always fun sharing the stage w this one...#familia," in a follow-up Instagram post, while Anthony wrote "#MiGente, thank you to the fans and @jlo for a wonderful concert" alongside an image of the former couple with kids Emme and Max.
It's not the first Anthony and Lopez have gotten back together on stage since splitting — in 2012, they reunited for a set on Q’Viva! The Chosen, an occasion that brought tears to J. Lo's eyes. Lopez has also shouted Anthony out across her Las Vegas residency All I Have, according to Entertainment Tonight.
