When I saw that Fergie was trending on Twitter, I knew something was up, but never in a million years did I think it would be for her singing the National Anthem at the NBA All-Star Game.

I haven't watched the NBA All-Star Game since early 2000's, so I didn't even know that it was still a thing.

This year, the two celebrity basketball team captains were Lebron James and Stephen Curry. The final score was 148-145, with Lebron's team etching out a super close win, indeed!

This is not to be confused with the NBA All Star Celebrity Game with Team Lakers and Team Clippers, which was held two days ago (February 16). The annual event featured stars like Jamie Foxx (who made headlines when he walked off a live TV interview when the ESPN host asked him about his alleged romance with actress Katie Holmes) and rapper Quavo from the group, Migos. Quavos was named the MVP of the game by scoring 19 points.

Fergie, who started out as a kid on The Mickey Mouse Club and worked her way up to join The Black Eyed Peas, sang the national anthem, but the reviews have been brutal.

Even my 6-year old daughter, Willow, was not too impressed.
